American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played an appearance in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in The NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from the animated comedy series of Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, at which point her mom and sister relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year , before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in acting, singing, and photography at 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
